This Pub is Permanently Closed

It is said that there was an escape route from Shaw Cross Pit into the cellar and that a previous landlord was murdered! Re-opened as the Spinners after a spell as an Indian restaurant and then as Mr. Smith's, then Cotton Mill then back to Spinners. Then converted to a fish and chip restaurant called Spinners Fisheries.
