Historic Interest
Possible earlier landlords include John Siggers & James C Bugg, see village historical section. A report in the Ipswich Journal** in Oct 1880 states that : Married at Little Cornard on the 13th George only son of Mr D Godden, Shoulder of Mutton Assington, to Susannah, youngest daughter of late James Cooper Bugg, of the Brook Inn, Great Cornard.
