There was a slight error in this entry as the original name wasn't the Bird in Hand.

The Bird in Hand was situated at 38-39 Hampstead High Street and closed in the mid-'80s to become Dôme which in turn relocated to this address, the pub becoming the current Café Rouge, which it has been since at least 1993.
