May 2026 - announcement from Operator - It is with a heavy heart that we share that Babel Beerhouse will be closing this month.

While the exact date is still being finalised, we will not be trading beyond 18th May. At this stage, it is likely that our final day will be Sunday 10th May, and we will confirm this shortly.

Babel has always been far more than just a venue. It has been a space defined by energy, creativity, and connection, something that only exists because of the people who brought it to life.

To our incredible team, past and present , thank you. Your passion, resilience, and commitment are what made Babel what it was.

To our customers, thank you for your continued support. For the conversations, the laughter, the late nights, and for making the space feel alive in a way we could never have imagined.

And to everyone who has been part of the journey, we are hugely grateful. It is difficult to fully capture what this has meant.

This is not just the closing of a venue, but the end of a chapter that we will always be proud of.

April 2026 - They are not brewing on site anymore. Equipment now only a feature but still functional.

In March 2023 the BB was brewing in N1C. A Session IPA called “Stubbie”, NZealand slang for bottled beer. These beers were only sold at the Kings Cross site.

The food serving times are not on their website so what we show is a bit of a guess.

In late October 2022, Little Creatures was acquired by In Good Company (IGC) and the venue became known as Babel Beer House. IGC then owned Four Pure and Magic Rock. Things have changed since then!
