Free house with spacious opened up interior and coal fire. Good value food, served until 9pm in summer. Up to four guest ales usually available, often from local breweries such as Wensleydale, Yorkshire Dales, Salamander and Theakston's. Sunday food hours may vary. Landlords have been in situe for over thirty-five years.
