Classic, comfortable, family-run, village free-house, set well back from the road. While parts of the building are thought to be around 350 years old, the pub originates in the 19th-century, but despite extension and renovation in recent decades, it still retains much of its original character. There is an upper lounge, with brick pillars and beamed ceiling, then steps down to the former snug which is now linked to a more modern dining room. Outdoor drinking on patio at front. Good reputation for food. Ashby Camera Club meets here Wednesday evenings.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
