This Pub is Closed Long Term
Popular village local, now a privately-owned free-house and the only pub in the village.
Subject to a radical refurbishment in 2014, there is a comfortable long public bar, plus a smart two-section 46-seater restaurant which incorporates the former snug and features a number of framed old local photographs.
There are separate lunch, evening, Sunday and bar snack menus (changed every 6 weeks or so) and occasional themed food evenings (eg. tapas).
Quiz night Sunday.
Wheelchair access is possible but there are no special toilet facilities.
Historic Interest
Built in the 17th-century as a farmhouse; converted to pub in early 1800s. Recorded as a Marston’s pub until bought privately in 2014.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Summer only) and 3 regular beers.
