This Pub is Closed Long Term

Named after a Lynyrd Skynyrd song, The Freebird is a real ale and music pub. The bar sports a friendly atmosphere and a pool table and with plenty of lively conversation. A second room to the other side of the bar is used for live entertainment and other functions. The guest beers can come from any brewery anywhere in the country and can number up to 12 if the pub is staging a special event. AWARDS: CAMRA Potteries Pub of the Month December 2011, October 2014 & July 2019. CAMRA Potteries Pub of the Year 2015 (Merit), 2016 (Merit), 2017 (Merit).
