Small, single-roomed community local, just outside Kidsgrove and on the road to Mow Cop, consisting of one room that curls round the bar, affording the simple joys of separate areas; there is a TV and dartboard near the bar, whilst a real fire roars away in the lounge area. The pool room is located at the back, and there is a pleasant beer garden to the rear of the pub. A karaoke session is staged every Saturday.
