Historic Interest

In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg pub. The Pub was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide but in May 1989 Handpumps had been installed and Tetley Mild, Dark Mild and Bitter were available. The Dark Mild had gone by February 1990 but the pub did get new signs in 1990. In February 1993 the pub had Mitchells Bitter as a guest beer. A Branch Meeting was held here on February 3rd 1994 and two weeks later a pub crawl of Daubhill visited. It was listed in the Good Beer Guide from 1994 to 1996.
