Historic Interest

In May 1981 this was a free house selling Bass Cask Bitter though this was not always available. It was previously known as the Black Dog Hotel which had closed in 1977/1978. In early 1982 it was also selling the 4X Mild but by April a Bass provided list only included the Cask Bitter, but by March 1985 this was no longer the case. It remained Keg only until it closed.
