Historic Interest

In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg pub, previously Walkers. The Pub was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide. However, in September 1990 it had started selling Holts Bitter as a guest beer and still was in 1992 as it was listed in the Great North Western Beer Festival Programme as selling Holts Bitter. This had disappeared by the time the pub closed. Had a new sign outside in 1988!
