Historic Interest

Delicensd on 07/10/11 landlord Mark Craven owner Punch Taverns. It was listed in John Stotts 1977 Guide to Good Beer in Bolton as selling Greenall Whitley Bitter and Dark Mild (E), with TV, Juke Box, darts, lunches, snacks and Good Stabling according to the sign on the wall outside. Famous Friday Night Folk Club. But by May 1981 it was a Greenall Whitley Keg Pub and this was still the case in December 1999. By 2001 their adverts said they were selling Greenall Whitley Bitter and John Smiths Bitter. (see photos)
