Historic Interest

Listed on Pugh's Auction 24/02/11 sold prior Delicensed 14/03/11 landlord Stephen Christian and owner Enterprise Inns, probably closed earlier than delicensing date. In May 1981 it was a Wilsons pub selling Mild and Bitter (E), by February 1983 the electric pumps had been replaced with handpumps. It was included in the selective Greater Manchester Guide in 1980 and 1985. It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Wilsons Bitter (H).
