Historic Interest

Delicensed 20/04/09, though no DPS from 02/03/09, prior to this it was Joseph Thomas Holt. In November 1979 this was one of the pubs where Walkers Warrington Ale was introduced, but it soon disappeared. Previously delicensed from 09/01/07 to 02/03/07. In May 1981 it was a Keg Tetley pub, however by February 1983 it was selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H). In 1985 it was included in the Greater Manchester selective Beer Guide. In August 1985 it was one of the pubs selling Jennings Bitter. The pub was owned by Newlord Ltd.
