Historic Interest

In May 1981 this was a keg Tetley pub, It remained a keg pub until 1989 when it was included in the Bolton Beer Guide as selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H). By December 1991 it was also selling Holts Bitter as a guest beer and in 1992 it was included in the Good Beer Guide. It was listed in the 1992 Great North Western Beer Festival Programme as selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H).
