Levers Arms, Bolton (Top Pub)

The long standing licencees (over twenty years!) left in April 2020 at the start of Covid, the pub was then sold off. Pub is becoming increasingly derelict after vandals have been gaining access. Notable that 100 locals signed a petition to prevent demolition and convert it into a waiting room for the new Metrolink tram service which nobody is yet planning for and it would be very unlikely to pass the pub anyway! In May 1981 it was a Whitbread Keg Pub. In late 1982 it had been refurbished and Duttons Bitter was on sale, by October 1983 the Duttons Bitter had been replaced with cask Trophy Bitter, Castle Eden Ale was also available. In the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide it was listed as selling Chesters Bitter and Cask Tropy Bitter (H).
