Historic Interest

It was listed in the selective 1980 Greater Manchester Good Beer Guide, it was a Wilsons pub selling Mild and Bitter (E). It was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton as it didn't see any Cask Beer at that time. Final Landlord Andrew Humphreys and owners Oxford Inns. It closed in the only year it was listed when in the 2015 Good Beer Guide! Between 2012 and when it closed it had sold beers from Bank Top, Thwaites, Moorhouse's, Copper Dragon and Hopstar. Moorhouse's had supplied a house beer called Pride of Dunscar.
