This Pub is Permanently Closed

One of the 60s early theme pubs in which guise it had running water cascading past seating areas at various levels to end up in a deep basin at basement level! Was Jo Smo's for a while when it was converted to a Mexican restaurant and night club. In 2004 it housed an Italian restaurant upstairs, with a Free House/bar downstairs, Closed by May 2009 with planning permission for demolition and rebuilding in similar appearance for apartments, houses and ground floor commercial space for retail, local office or restaurant use. Complete and to let by December 2013.
