This Pub is Closed Long Term
Half way along from Kew Bridge to Ealing Road this pub was established by 1841. By the 1990s it had been renamed O’Riordan's Tavern then later to be called Captain Morgan's. Today it has reverted back to just O’Riordans and is a Free House. There are live bands at weekends. Tuesday is quiz night and session music ceile Monday nights. All football, GAA and rugby games are screened on the various big screens housed around the pub. Predominantly Irish clientèle. Friendly and lively when major sporting events are on. Now under new management in 2017. Jan 2019 - Right Move are advertising the freehold of the pub for sale.
A second planning application has been submitted to knock down O'Riordans pub on Brentford High Street and replace it with a 3-storey block of four flats after the initial planning application (P/2019/2873) was refused permission this January.
You can comment on this application by visiting the planning website and entering the application ref P/2020/1254.
