This Pub is Closed Long Term
Despite the age of the building, the interior has been modernised. Comfortable and spacious, there are areas for drinkers and eaters alike. A pleasant outside drinking area is sheltered from the canal by a large hedge which is also hides the lock.
Historic Interest
The Mill dates back to the 16th century, when it was the site of a cloth (or corn) mill, rebuilt in 1829 by the Lancaster Canal Company
