This 15th-century country pub, extended to create six popular letting rooms, is situated in a picturesque part of the Pang Valley. It has a saloon bar and dining room, plus a tap room with an exposed wattle and daub wall. Folk night is every second Wednesday and blues every fourth Friday of the month. Ring the bull is played here. The large, safe garden is ideal for families. Reopening 29 September 2018 after a £200,000 refurbishment including a new kitchen. Now owned by Richie Sanderson (chef patron of nearby Bladebone, Chapel Row). Reported that menu will be traditional pub food and include some small dishes appropriate for the bar area.
