This Pub is Closed Long Term

With previous experience of the hotel business, Paul and Helen Lavis have been running the Bell since 1985. Although Paul admits the restaurant is at the heart of the Bell he strives to obtain a changing range of guest ales from favoured breweries like Box Steam for visitors to enjoy. The traditional bar, with a log fire, is situated in the oldest part of the building dating back to the 17th century. Pool and crib can be played. The bar food menu is on a blackboard. Pizzas can be served all day until 10.30pm. A choice of three roasts on Sunday are highly rated. Restaurant times are flexible for large parties booking in advance. 11 ensuite bedrooms are available.
