Two star - A pub interior of very special national historic interest
Listed status: Not listed
A beautifully preserved small town, two-room bar.
Plain fittings include a typical counter with diagonal tongue-and-grooved-boarding and the boarded ceilings. The lounge was refitted in 1968 but with an earlier fireplace. The bar has been in the hands of the Lowry family since 1953.
