Large hotel built in 1939 to replace an older smaller pub which dated back to 1840s. The hotel has a main lounge bar housing a jukebox, pool table, dartboard and TV screens for sports coverage, where football and golf are popular. Frequent events may include karaoke, parties, discos and occasional live bands. A large 80 seater restaurant is home to TLJ's Bar & Grill, plus a Sunday carvery. The large garden is child friendly with play equipment and an external toilet block.
