This Pub is Permanently Closed
This former 18th coaching inn is now a two bar family and community pub with large beer garden. The public bar has low ceilings, wooden beams and a large fireplace surrounded by exposed brickwork. There is a large screen TV with Sky sports, quiz machine, jukebox, plus a dartboard & cribbage, with teams. The lounge bar is rather spartan, there is an outdoor patio and smoking area. This pub closed down on 5th July 2015. Greene King are selling the pub presumably as a private house, due to land at the rear being developed for housing.
