Under new management from May 2025 after the departure if the previous tenants of 5 years. The cellar has been fitted out by Carlsberg who have installed three pumps with Wainwright and Hobgoblin brewery conditioned beers - note these are not cask ales despite being served misleadingly through handpumps!

The Fairfield Arms is a thriving community local consisting of a main bar with two adjacent rooms the pub still has many of the original features.

A small south facing garden is at the front of the pub and the rear and east courtyards were expanded and upgraded during the 2021 lockdowns.
