This Pub is Closed Long Term

Closed July 2023 due to the road being closed for twelve weeks to repair the mains water pipe. The future of the Bear is uncertain.

Nice old roadside pub set at an angle to the main road through the village. It has a central bar flanked by two large dining areas and has a good reputation for food.

No garden, but there is an outside seating area under a vine covered patio at the south side of pub which overlooks a racing stables and ménage.
