This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

A spacious, comfortable and very well appointed modern private members club, having lounge/concert room and separate large games/TV room (two snooker tables). Three very competitively priced real ales, well tended by the enthusiastic steward. Trans Pennine Trail (walking/biking/horse-riding route) on former railway track runs at rear of the club. Bingo on Monday evening and regular entertainment on some other days. In mid 2016 the rules changed for entry. You must now be a member or be signed in by a member you know. Occasional CAMRA visits are allowed by prior arrangement.
