Chinnor's best real ale pub with a varied range, often from microbreweries. Now part of the local Oak Taverns pub group.
Old English style and genuinely multi-roomed with a crowded bar, the lounge area, further back, has an inglenook fireplace with seats recessed into the wall next to a wood-burning stove. A large covered paved area has been added to the rear of the pub with ample outdoor seating which has been expanded into a marquee in the car park.
Over three hundred years old and formerly a set of three cottages. Regular events such as quiz nights.
Locally valued therefore listed as an asset of community value.
