The Red Lion is an attractive, rural 17th century free house. The one-room bar is smart and welcoming with a restaurant to the side. It offers accommodation and free wireless broadband access. Recent refurbishments have added some very smart toilets and a function room. A cosy snug, with television and games available is to the left of the bar. The pub also has a commendable policy of sourcing its real ales from local breweries. Locally valued therefore listed as an Asset of Community Value.

Has been known to close earlier than the advertised opening hours.
