A welcome watering hole for those visiting an area which has few real ale pubs. This small, established local inn has a friendly clientele and offers good food from a family-friendly menu. Dogs are permitted, with water and biscuits supplied. A handy stop-off for the nearby Culzean Castle and Country Park, and also a good starting point for visits to the northern end of Galloway Forest Park.
