Set back from the seafront, Sharps is located on the corner of Nelson Street and Boyd Street. It is a large, traditional pub with several drinking spaces. An open fire warms the bar area and there is a beer garden outside. Quality pub meals are served. Games and sport are shown on TV and live music plays occasionally. Real ale returned in August 2023, but stopped being sold in 2026.
