A 17th century inn, family owned and now home to the Cross Brewery. Inside, a games bar on the right has pool and darts, and the door marked "Public" on the left leads to a more lounge-type area. There's a terraced garden at the rear. This pub generally serves a good selection of cask ales and now real ciders (from Wilkins). Food is served from Wednesday - Saturday, both lunchtimes and evenings. Stonebaked pizzas are available on Thursday evenings and there are also Sunday roasts. An annual Beer Event is held. There's a large car park opposite.
