Long and narrow, L shaped pub with attractive bow window, opposite the side entrance to Bristol Hippodrome. Live close-up magic (hence the name) on Thursdays to Saturdays, with live music on Fridays and Saturdays, plus comedy nights. Despite the signage on the front, no real ale is served.
