One of many popular pubs on King Street, the Volley keeps its customers warm in front of the snug fireplace in winter, and cool(er) on its sun-trap, roof terrace (heated in winter) and street-level benches in summer. Although pump clips are not displayed, a beer board displays which local and/or independent cask and keg beers are on offer, with prices shown for third, half and full pints. Increased cask ale ofering from Spring 2023, with up to six cask ales available, sometimes two.
