Former Description -

The Anchor Inn is a family run freehouse specialising in high quality food, good beer and fine wines. The Inn is situated in the delightful village of Oakerthorpe in the heart of Derbyshire alongside the B6013. It is set in approximately 2 acres of land and has parking for 130 plus vehicles.

To the rear of the Inn runs the remains of a Roman road (Ryknild Street) and at the front is a large anchor that was brought from Portsmouth via a local scrap dealer in about 1983.

Planning application AVA-2015-0914 approved 05/10/2017.
