Large, imposing hotel in second highest village in Scotland. Small public bar right of entrance and larger lounge to the left where you will find the two handpumps.

Route over the A939 from Cockbridge usually the first to be blocked due to winter snow but alternate access via Dufftown is usually possible.

Can be very quiet out of season, best phone before travelling to visit during this period.

Only one cask ale in winter months (October to Easter).
