This smart country town hotel is an historic inn from the 16thC (featured in Fielding's novel 'Tom Jones'). The bar is tucked away to the right past a small lounge area, while to the left is an area set up for dining, though it also has comfy sofas in the front window overlooking the Main Street. A pleasant mixture of old beams and Georgian panelling. A corridor up the middle leads to a covered outside area and beyond that the garden area and small car park.
Level access from the car park, and disable toilets.. Local buses stop nearby providing convenient transport to and from local campsites. Dogs are welcome plus there is outside seating on the rear patio area.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
