About the competition:

The Campaign for Real Ale’s Champion Bottled Beer of Britain competition will take place next Thursday the 5th May at the Coventry Beer Festival following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Champion Bottled Beer of Britain is awarded to the very best bottle conditioned real ale in the country. It is one of the Campaign for Real Ale’s most prestigious awards and has been running for more than 30 years.

The judging and announcement will take place at the Coventry Beer Festival, following a series of local member voting rounds and regional judging competitions throughout the year.

About Coventry Beer Festival:

The Coventry Beer Festival is taking place on 6 & 7 May at the Coventry Rugby Football Ground, Butts Park Arena, Butts Road, Spon End, CV1 3GE. It features over 70 beers, craft ales, ciders, perries and country wines.

Opening times are Friday 12 noon – 11 pm and Saturday 12 noon – 10:30 pm
