Just five days left to grab your tickets to the virtual Great British Beer Festival

Tickets to the virtual Great British Beer Festival will only be on sale for another five days, closing on 28 August to allow organisers time to fulfil beer orders before the festival.

The festival, which has been organised by the Campaign for Real Ale, will take place virtually from 11-13 September 2020. Live beer tastings will run each day from 2 pm – 9:30 pm, led by experts such as Roger Protz, Cheryl Cade and Adrian Tierney-Jones.

There will also be pre-recorded ‘events’ for visitors to dip into in between the tastings, which includes a tour and Q&A of Charles Faram hop farm, Crisp Malt maltings, Harvey’s Brewery and Little Pomona Orchard.

Tickets retail at £46/each and include a 2020 festival glass and 11 beer to participate in two of the tasting sessions. These include an ‘introduction to beer’ session, which will feature some of the category winners from last year’s Champion Beer of Britain competition, and an additional six beers for an in-depth tasting of a specific style of their choice. These range from a special American beer range to bitters, goldensdark brews and more.

Over half of the tickets were sold out within 24 hours, but organisers have worked hard to ensure all tastings are still available for the final orders this week.

Festival organiser Catherine Tonry says: “With less than a month to go before the festival begins, we’d urge everyone to order their tickets today to avoid disappointment. We have a great line up this year with expert tasters, an American beer bar and tours of hop farms, orchards and breweries. It’s not a weekend to be missed!”
