Join a free expert-led virtual beer tasting at the Red (On)Lion

Master beer trainer Christine Cryne will be leading a virtual beer tasting session to explore some of the wonderful beer styles available in the UK on Tuesday 21 April at 6pm.

Hosted at the Red (On)Lion, a new virtual pub created by the Campaign for Real Ale which allows beer lovers to converge over a pint of their favourite drink, this tasting will launch a new series of virtual events on ‘Tasty Tuesdays’. 

Free and open to the public, the event will be limited to the first 50 participants to sign up. The session will give you a solid grounding into some of the great beer styles available and the differences between them. To join the fun and drink along with Christine, participants are encouraged to order the beers in advance from Durham Brewery, which is currently offering delivery services nationwide. 

Participants should order the following brews to take part from Durham Brewery: 

  • Cloister (Premium Bitter) 
  • Magus (Pale Ale) 
  • Evensong (Ruby Beer) 
  • Bombay 3000 (IPA) 
  • Imperious (Russian Stout) 
  • Benedictus (Barley Wine)
