Following the announcement that Brigid Simmonds OBE, Chief Executive of the British Beer & Pubs Association will be stepping down from her role, please find below comment from CAMRA.
Nik Antona, CAMRA National Chairman said:
"While CAMRA's objectives and campaigns have not always matched those of the BBPA, Brigid has been an effective force in the industry, especially on the issues of beer tax, business rates and promoting pubs as a valuable tourism attraction for the UK. She'll be missed by many in the pub and wider hospitality industry."
