CAMRA Members’ Real Ale Discount Scheme
The Real Ale Discount Scheme offers CAMRA members discounts in thousands of pubs across the UK.*
CAMRA members can receive discounts from 10p off a pint to a whopping 10% discount across selected products on the production of a valid membership card. Pubs offer the discounts to encourage footfall and CAMRA members into their pubs to enjoy their real ales.

Pubs participating in the scheme will also feature the Real Ale Discount Scheme window sticker – look out for this in your local (new design in pubs soon!).

Greene King Local Pubs 10% discount off Cask Ales
All Greene King owned and operated pubs (which includes Hungry Horse, Chef & Brewer, FLaming Grill and Greene King Pubs) are offering all CAMRA members, on production of a valid membership card, 10% off Cask Ales at over 1,300 of their pubs.

What is the Real Ale Discount Scheme?
The CAMRA Real Ale Discount Scheme (RADS) was created on the request of licensees to give them the chance to promote their real ale offering to card-carrying CAMRA members by offering them money off a pint or half-pint.
CAMRA members can receive discounts on the production of a VALID membership card.
CAMRA members enjoy discounts at over 3,300 pubs* nationwide via the RADS scheme, which encompasses:
- Real Ale Discount Scheme Membership Card discounts (around 3,350 pubs)
- CAMRA real ale, cider and perry paper vouchers (over 1200 pubs)
*some pubs may offer both discounts
Which pubs participate in the Real Ale Discount Scheme?
You can find pubs that offer the RADS discounts near you or in any location in the UK, using our handy postcode Search above (this will be operational from early July).
Also, you can visit CAMRA’s online pub database whatpub.com and Search by location – using a place name or postcode, and then filter results by ticking the checkbox Member Discount Scheme -with this symbol: 
– in the Filter by Features section.
Pubs participating in the scheme will also feature the Real Ale Discount Scheme window sticker – look out for this in your local.
Posters may also highlight the exact terms and conditions, which are at the discretion of each pub.

What are the Terms and Conditions for a discount?
All discounts are at a pub’s discretion and subject to each pub’s own terms and conditions.
These are usually displayed on an empty belly Real Ale Discount poster in the pub.
Please do not abuse the discounts supplied by each pub, as all discounts are offered in good faith to CAMRA members.

How is the RADS Scheme promoted in a pub?
Pubs can display the discounts they are offering to CAMRA members behind the bar via Real Ale Discount Schene posters, together with identifier window stickers.
The poster offers space for the pub to add any Terms and Conditions of the offer or additional discounts on items such as accommodation or occasionally food.
The discount is at the discretion of the pub and can be as little or as large as the pub feels suits their business.

Can any pub participate in the RADS scheme?
All Real Ale pubs can participate in this scheme.
How can my pub/s join the Real Ale Discount Scheme?
There are two ways in which a pub can join the Scheme:
1. any pub operated by an owner/tenant/lessee can decide to offer a discount under RADS.
To join the scheme – please contact your Local CAMRA branch – find a branch near you and they will be able to help you.
2. a managed pub company can decide to join the scheme for a specific set of managed pubs
Tenanted pubs can also join the scheme, following agreement with their pub company.
To join, pub companies should email camravouchers@camra.org.uk to contact the CAMRA Membership Team who will be able to assist you.
They can also further explain both the RADS scheme and the new voucher scheme that sits within the RADS scheme to you.
Once your participation is approved, your details will be added to the system and Whatpub.com and a Window Stickers and Posters Pack will be sent out to you.
How is the RADS Scheme promoted in a pub?
Each pub offering a discount is provided with window stickers and empty belly posters. Pubs can also add a RADS logo to your Pub website (available via WhatPub.)
Pubs can use the empty-belly posters to display the discounts they are offering to CAMRA members behind the bar. They help CAMRA members identify that the pub is participating in the scheme.
Pubs can write on the discount they are offering to CAMRA members on pints.
The discount is at the discretion of the pub and can be as little or as large as the pub feels suits their business.

How do CAMRA members identify the discount in my pub/s?

Can CAMRA Branch Officials sign up pubs to the scheme?
Yes. CAMRA branch officials can sign up pubs for the Discount Scheme.
CAMRA branch officials must get approval from pub licensees/managers before they progress the discount – and order the promotional packs on their behalf and submit online the discounts the pub offers to CAMRA members.
If you are a branch official and have agreement from a pub to join the scheme, please get in touch with your branch WhatPub contact with all the details.
Once the pub’s listing on WhatPub has been updated to include the Member Discount Scheme by your branch contact, an information pack with stickers and posters will be automatically sent to the pub. If you are unsure of your branch Whatpub contact, please email membership@camra.org.uk.
