A traditional pub (grade II listed) since at least 1847. Situated in back streets south west of the city centre, the pub is above the Quay on the corner of Melbourne Street and Colleton Row. It is notable for its rounded wedge shape.
Owned and operated by Exeter Brewery.
The main drinking area flows around the bar, a real fire warms this area in colder weather. A separate dining room is downstairs and is available for meetings, etc..
The pub offers two real ciders on keg.
Disability access is possible for a wheelchair and so are the toilets, but whole pub is small and narrow.
