Cosy community pub, popular with locals, large bar with real fire, tables chairs and soft furnishings. Always with 3 real ales, with Don Valley Session Pale or Atomic Blonde as a regular, a Pig Barn beer on the second pump, with the third featuring interesting guests from mainly local ales, with occasional ales from further afield. Closing times vary according to trade. Winner of CAMRA's Pub of the Season Summer 2025.
