At heart it is a simple ale trail. With 102 participating pubs in the 2026 event, we don't ask you to do ALL of them!Many local brewers are producing special milds, including Holts, who are offering a 5.3% traditional mild!Mild Magic can be completed on any one of the four levels below but with one overriding principle.

At heart it is a simple ale trail. With 102 participating pubs in the 2026 event, we don't ask you to do ALL of them!

Many local brewers are producing special milds, including Holts, who are offering a 5.3% traditional mild!


Mild Magic can be completed on any one of the four levels below but with one overriding principle. When you visit a pub and consume a pint (or half) of cask-conditioned mild you request a sticker to attach to your Mild Magic card. No matter how many times you visit a pub, nor how many different milds you may consume, it is strictly one sticker only per pub.


Mild Magic: Collect stickers from 12 different locations and be rewarded with a T‑shirt emblazoned with the Mild Magic logo


Mild Magic Extra: For this you need to visit 24 different areas and are rewarded with a polo shirt.


Mild Magic Super: Venture in to 36 area and collect 48 stickers to receive a sweat shirt.


Mild Magic Ultra: The ultimate - visit every pub and receive both a polo and a sweat shirt.
