CARMARTHENSHIRE CAMRA ROLLS OUT THE BARREL AT OCTOBER FESTIVAL!Following last year’s success at its Carmarthenshire Real Ale and Cider festival, CAMRA is polishing the tables and oiling the pumps in readiness for this year’s event. To be held at the Saint Peters Hall in the centre of our county town from the 2nd to 4th October, the local Committee is forecasting another highly-enjoyable and successful event. As we approach our 30th Festival year, we will be concentrating on reaching out, not necessarily to seasoned beer-drinkers, but to everyone and anyone who wants to know more about good beer — and to join our ever-growing ranks, dedicated as we are to flavour, taste, choice, breweries (new and old) and the defence of the local pub! In a welcoming, convivial environment, come and sample the dozens of offerings from near and far: from the traditional ‘Cwrw of Cymru’ to brews from across the Severn.Whether you are one of Merlin’s own, pitching your fork with Jemima, relaxing with a Welsh pale, or (as was the case last year) getting to grips with some of Herefordshire and the English border counties’ finest brews, this year we have something for everyone.
CARMARTHENSHIRE CAMRA ROLLS OUT THE BARREL AT OCTOBER FESTIVAL!
Following last year’s success at its Carmarthenshire Real Ale and Cider festival, CAMRA is polishing the tables and oiling the pumps in readiness for this year’s event.
In a welcoming, convivial environment, come and sample the dozens of offerings from near and far: from the traditional ‘Cwrw of Cymru’ to brews from across the Severn.
Whether you are one of Merlin’s own, pitching your fork with Jemima, relaxing with a Welsh pale, or (as was the case last year) getting to grips with some of Herefordshire and the English border counties’ finest brews, this year we have something for everyone. A booklet and tasting notes will be provided (you can be as detailed with your beer-sampling, or as carefree as you like) but you will always have members of the CAMRA team on hand to guide you. With all the town’s facilities nearby, and with snacks available in the hall, bring your family and friends, and fill your glass, at what promises to be a great day out.
