Description

Round Tower began brewing at the beginning of 2013, the first brewery in Chelmsford since Gray & Sons ceased brewing in 1974.

Brewer Simon Tippler started on a small scale but has now expanded to a brew length of 5 barrels.

The beer is regularly stocked in local free houses and also pubs from the Gray & Sons estate. Round Tower also produce a selection of bottle conditioned beers. With only a Stout and a Black IPA as regular beers, Round Tower produce a constantly changing range of hop forward pale ales alongside seasonal brown beers.
