Julian Church started brewing in early 2009 at the Alexandra Arms Kettering on Nobby's Brewery's old five-barrel plant after Nobby's expanded and moved to Guilsborough. In 2014 the brewery moved to bigger premises in an old dairy at Cransley near Kettering. It was bought by the owners of the Black Prince in Northampton and relocated there in early 2016, with brewing recommencing in July. Beers are also brewed under the house brand 'Olde England Ales' (OEA). In December 2017 all production moved to Potbelly who now brew the beers under contract.
